Finnish Information Centre of Automobile Sector

The Association’s media relations and statistics are handled by the Finnish Information Centre of Automobile Sector, which is responsible for distributing information on industry developments, arranging meetings and events, as well as participating actively in public discussions relevant to the automotive industry. The Finnish Information Centre of Automobile Sector is owned by the Association of Automobile Importers in Finland and the Finnish Central Organization for Motor Trades and Repairs.

Finnish Car Recycling Ltd

Owned by the Association of Automobile Industry in Finland, Finnish Car Recycling Ltd is a so-called producer association, which coordinates the collection, treatment and recycling of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) in accordance with the requirements laid down in the ELV Directive.

Finnish Central Organisation for Motor Trades and Repairs

The Finnish Central Organization for Motor Trades and Repairs is an association that provides services to and represents the financial and labour-market interests of automobile, truck and machinery sales companies as well as repair, painting, anti-rust and inspection companies. Its task is to improve the operating environment of its member companies.

ACEA

The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) is a collaborative organization of European car manufacturers. It promotes the interests of its members, and shares its expertise on legislative, commercial, technical, consumer and environmental issues.

OICA

The International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) is an international cooperation organization of automobile manufacturers. The organization promotes the interests of its members, represents the automotive industry at an international level, distributes information and participates in research.

Finnish Commerce Federation

Finnish Commerce Federation is a nationwide lobbying organization whose mission is to promote Finnish commerce. We work to improve the operating conditions for companies active in wholesale and retail trade, to stimulate cooperation within the sector, and to enhance the commercial and employer interests of our members.

Confederation of Finnish Industries

The Confederation of Finnish Industries represents its members in economic and labour policy issues, as well as in political decision making. Its goal is to create a better and more competitive operating environment for the business community in Finland.

Automobile and Touring Club of Finland

Founded in 1919, the Automobile and Touring Club of Finland is an association that promotes the interests, services and hobbies of individual motorists. Its goal is to offer affordable and easy access to all motoring benefits and services required by its members.

Finnish Transport and Logistics (SKAL)

The Finnish Transport and Logistics (SKAL) is an organization that promotes the interests of entrepreneurs and transport businesses engaged in goods haulage by road, as well as enterprises providing logistical services.

Finnish Transport Safety Agency (Traficom)

Trafi develops the safety of the transport system, promotes environmentally friendly transport solutions and is responsible for transport system regulatory duties.

Ministry of Transport and Communications, Finland

The Ministry of Transport and Communications is responsible for two broad sectors: transport policy and communications policy. In the transport sector, the Ministry’s responsibilities include transport systems and networks, transport of people and goods, traffic safety, and issues relating to climate and the environment. In the communications sector, the Ministry takes care of issues relating to communications networks, information security and data protection, information society policy, the mass media, and postal services.

Ministry of Environment, Finland

The Ministry of the Environment is responsible for preparing matters presented to the Government and the Parliament in the fields of community planning, built environment, living environments, biodiversity, sustainable use of natural resources, as well as environmental protection. The Ministry is responsible for strategic planning, supervision and resources, legislative drafting and international cooperation.

Ministry of Finance, Finland

The Ministry of Finance prepares economic and fiscal policy, drafts the annual state budget, and provides expertise in tax policy matters. It is responsible for drafting policy on the financial markets and state employer and human resources policy, and for the overall development of public administration. In addition, the Ministry is in charge of the legislative and financial requirements of local government functions. It also participates in the work of the European Union and several international organizations and financial institutions.
