Finnish Information Centre of Automobile Sector
The Association’s media relations and statistics are handled by the Finnish Information Centre of Automobile Sector, which is responsible for distributing information on industry developments, arranging meetings and events, as well as participating actively in public discussions relevant to the automotive industry. The Finnish Information Centre of Automobile Sector is owned by the Association of Automobile Importers in Finland and the Finnish Central Organization for Motor Trades and Repairs.
Finnish Car Recycling Ltd
Owned by the Association of Automobile Industry in Finland, Finnish Car Recycling Ltd is a so-called producer association, which coordinates the collection, treatment and recycling of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) in accordance with the requirements laid down in the ELV Directive.
Finnish Central Organisation for Motor Trades and Repairs
The Finnish Central Organization for Motor Trades and Repairs is an association that provides services to and represents the financial and labour-market interests of automobile, truck and machinery sales companies as well as repair, painting, anti-rust and inspection companies. Its task is to improve the operating environment of its member companies.
ACEA
The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) is a collaborative organization of European car manufacturers. It promotes the interests of its members, and shares its expertise on legislative, commercial, technical, consumer and environmental issues.
OICA
The International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) is an international cooperation organization of automobile manufacturers. The organization promotes the interests of its members, represents the automotive industry at an international level, distributes information and participates in research.

Ministry of Transport and Communications, Finland
The Ministry of Transport and Communications is responsible for two broad sectors: transport policy and communications policy. In the transport sector, the Ministry’s responsibilities include transport systems and networks, transport of people and goods, traffic safety, and issues relating to climate and the environment. In the communications sector, the Ministry takes care of issues relating to communications networks, information security and data protection, information society policy, the mass media, and postal services.
